Bikini Confidence (8 weeks)
This KickStart will work all the important bits- arms, bums, legs & waists with four 30 minutes workouts each week. With PowerPlate massage to smooth away the cellulite and food diary reviews to keep you on track.
I joined New River women’s gym for a 2 month Bikini Blitz program. During my time there, my fitness increased dramatically.
Amazingly, the instructors really are as friendly as they advertise themselves to be! They remember your name and use their expert knowledge and skills to push each member to just outside their comfort zone – that’s where the visible results come in! I lost several cm all over, in just 2 months.
At the end of my 2 month membership, I was genuinely sad to leave. Had it not been for moving out of the area, I would have taken up a full membership here. The workout is highly effective and it’s really easy to motivate yourself to go since it’s only 30 minutes each time.
The biggest difference this gym made to me was that it changed my attitude to exercise, as well as changing my body. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Get yourself down there and get that body moving girl!Anonymous

Post Natal Rejuvenation (12 wks)
New River’s trained post-natal specialists have been there themselves and know how to re-integrate you with activity at the pace that’s right for you. This is our most specialised KickStart, to meet all the challenges of post-natal care, with a lot of one-on-one attention to your specific situation and your specific goals. Happily, it’s still all about 30 minute workouts, so you’ll still have time for all life’s other ‘little’ challenges! Remember to ask about our Kids’ Corner.
I joined this gym in September without having ever done any ‘proper’ exercise before and was very happy to discover that the gym wasn’t scary as I imagined it to be but it was friendly and welcoming! I love going there, I do powerplate classes when I can and have lost 4 inches off my waist and toned up and feel better in all my clothes. My 3 year old son used to come with me and go in the kids corner for 30 mins and he was happy as he could see me while I worked out now he attends nursery but I still take him in with me in the half term.
I can’t praise this place enough!

“I put on a lot of weight during my pregnancy and after the birth of my son I had to face getting my figure back with the added difficulty of having to recover from an emergency Caesarian. I felt nervous about getting back to the gym after my 6 week check but have found the support and structure of the Post Natal Kickstart at New River amazing. The friendly female only atmosphere has helped me get back to enjoying exercise without feeling self conscious. My PN consultation, goal checks and PT sessions with Elizabeth have been tailored not only to my post-pregnancy body but also my recovery from the surgery – the fact that she has been through a similar experience with the birth of her daughter has really helped as when she pushed me to stretch myself I felt confident it wasn’t something that would hamper my recovery. I am halfway through my kickstart and I have lost 10 pounds and 2 inches from my waist and hips – still a way to go but I am feeling a good momentum and that getting to my goal is very achievable. I am really enjoying coming to my Power Classes and Power Plate sessions at New River and feeling my strength and fitness return rapidly!”
